Left: Article on Denver Drag Racing in Hot Rod Magazine, 1951. Ed Piz is pictured here and interviewed in the film-he is still racing vintage drags today! Below: The Astronauts- Internationally famous surf band from Boulder, 1963. Drummer Jim Gallagher is interviewed in the film. From Denver's own Kenz & Leslie- the first hot rod to go 200mph at Bonneville- the Streamliner. More pics of its first incarnation, the 'Odd Rod' and Bonneville too.
